I found a similar thread elsewhere on the forum, and your advice there was to look at the preferences menu and manually turn on the Raylectron extension, however when I go to that menu there is no Raylectron extension there to enable. During the installation there is a question that says something like "please select the sketchup version(s) that you want to load raylectron for.", and I would expect to see a list (of one version) underneath for me to select, however there are no entries below so my guess is that the Raylectron setup can't see the sketchup installation and so can't install it's toolbar. So next I downloaded the CPU version ("Raylectron_Setup_Win64_CPU"), installed it but when I restarted sketchup there was no toolbar and no "punch" button. Fair enough I thought my graphics card isn't up to snuff. I downloaded the GPU version, pressed the "punch" button and everything seemed to hang (for like 30mins). You will now be able to see the outdoor lighting.I'm trying to give Raylectron a go to see what it is like (I think it might be overkill given the tiny scale of the project I'm doing), and am falling at the first hurdle. You will be asked to name your file and save it.

Simply click on the Render button (without editing your model). It has Render, eyedropper and Close buttons. Click on the Raylectron toolbar icon to start the process. The next step involved loading a 360-degree HDRI Environment Map from into Raylectron. Once you have saved each setting, be sure to click the Apply button.ĥ. The glass in the windows adjusted for transparency and shininess. There was a bit of depth given to bricks, stones, and shingles in this case.
